I have 2 of my power door locks that suddenly quit responding. Actually they do move but will not go up or down with the power locks. Any one seen this before?

This is a common problem. All four doors on mine operate when they want to. The actuators are bad. The dealer will charge you about $44 per actuator. Install prices vary, expect to pay $75 per door if you don't do it yourself. If its under warranty, take it in. While its in the shop, might as well have em check all the bolts and linkeages under the front end to mitigate the inevitable popping noise. And maybe have em check to make sure your rotors aren't warped yet too. That should cover some of the major systemic problems.

Wheels,

Appreciate the response, that is what I was assuming and I am not sure there are any of those dealers in jersey either Especially not for me since I didn't buy the truck from them, they seem to get so jealous or upset about losing the commission

Thanks again

Can a mechanic not at a dealer get the code? My dealer wants to charge me $100 to hook it up and get me the code!

Just our suped-up version of the old station wagon!

That's a good question...The dealership here said it would take 30min - 1 hour labor...To plug in a computer and scan it????? They must move pretty slow!!!!!! That is why I haven't yet done it.
