Hi Forum.

The latch on my overhead console broke. I didn't want to spend $200 on an entire used console (or $225 to replace the center section from the dealer!). It took months to finally find a used console center section.

So, I'm selling my old one that I removed today. EASY removal and installation. I was surprised.

This is not a new console, but it's still in good shape. I know there are other X owners who have been looking for this center section. The broken latch would be an easy fix (using glue or another latch?). Bulbs and switches work great. The bulb for the driver needs to be tightened (why do these Ford map lights loosen over time? I usually pop off the clear lens cover and tighten the bulb).

Ford wants $225, but I'll sell for $55 if you don't mind fixing the latch. I put the console on eBay if you want to see pictures. Call or text me if you're interested. 210-262-2001.
