Nickname: Budgetbogger
Mileage: 200000
Engine: Stock Straight-Six 4.0L, K&N Filter, H.O. Head, If you heard a video you heard the performance exhaust (or lack of), I guess I used it as a skidplate once to often.
Drivetrain: Stock Automatic 4-spd tranny, stock axles,
new transfer-case(stock).
Notes: Used to only like Fords. Then I saw this bone stock Cherokee for sale. I test drove it to the local forestry roads and after a short time wheeling bought it that day. I never knew a Cherokee was so capable! Various friends of mine with similar suvs of different makes and bigger price tags have all bit it's dust at one time or another. Picked it up in good shape and slowly reduced it to bush truck due to low budget, however it has inspired me invest a coming settlement into a '89 4-dr
with a Bronco's axles(9inch and and Dana).
But I'll stick with the 4.0L, It's a damn good motor.

12/17/04Damage hit tree
Wife left Jeep parked on hill, the tranny went and it rolled backwards down the highway barely missing two cars before it flew into someone's yard severing a tree pinning it to another tree. When a cop drove by and noticed she called a tow truck. When they were pulling it out the cop turned her back on the accident to ask my wife what happened. The tree the jeep had severed and pinned came loose and fell on the officer! I was at home and the next thing I knew my wife's voice was yelling on the police scanner saying "help help a tree fell on a cop!" The officer went to the hospital and was released the next day after suffering a concussion (yes we sent her flowers). In the end we recieved no fines or penalties at all other than the damage to the truck (hatch & bumper).
