stock 260 with long tube headers & chrome air cleaner. Have 60's style finned valve covers for it. It has 3 inch dual exhaust that exits in front of the rear tires on each side.I also have a 390 BB in the back corner of the garage for it in the future.
Drivetrain:
right now it still has the Ford-O-Matic 2 speed automatic.

I found this 64 Fairlane in a driveway of an elderly gentleman in NW Ohio. It had been sitting there since 1988. It used to belong to his father.It had been asked about by several people before me ,if it was for sale. I had stopped at just the right time--as he had finally made a decision to sell it. We talked for a little bit & finally came to a price of $600. I trailered it home & had it running the next day.It is actually pretty solid.I'm currently turning it into a Thunderbolt clone.
