I noticed while i drive my car accelerates normally until it hits 1,000 RPM at 40mph, it seems like the car goes into a low gear, thats the only way i can explain it. Someone told me that theres a digital throttle sensor for the 2006 model, where is it located and whats the exact part called?

You have "drive by wire", everything from the gas pedal to the throttle body is electronic.
If there was a fault in the system, you should get a fault code(CEL).
You can try resetting the sensor by going through a series of steps:
- turn the ignition key to the -ON- position, but DO NOT START the vehicle.
- slowly depress the gas pedal to the floor.
- quickly release the gas pedal.
- turn the ignition key to the -OFF- position.

- Repeat the above 4 steps, 2(two) more times.

I just did the test on my car, i didnt drive it though. Was i supposed to have it hooked up to a computer while i did the test?
