I noticed while i drive my car accelerates normally until it hits 1,000 RPM at 40mph, it seems like the car goes into a low gear, thats the only way i can explain it. Someone told me that theres a digital throttle sensor for the 2006 model, where is it located and whats the exact part called? |

You have "drive by wire", everything from the gas pedal to the throttle body is electronic.
If there was a fault in the system, you should get a fault code(CEL).
You can try resetting the sensor by going through a series of steps:
- turn the ignition key to the -ON- position, but DO NOT START the vehicle.
- slowly depress the gas pedal to the floor.
- quickly release the gas pedal.
- turn the ignition key to the -OFF- position.
- Repeat the above 4 steps, 2(two) more times. |
