Hello all,

I've really been intrested in owning a police owned crown vic simply for the durability - I want a daily driver I can haul some weight with.

I am going to an auction to replace my Civic and see that there are a lot of OPP (Ontario Canada police) 2010 and 2011 Crown Vics for sale.

Can anyone share their experiences with these? Good car to drive? I will have a mechanic with me to take a quick look. Should he be paying attention to anything in particular with these?

I am also interested in doing a propane conversion to save on gas.

Any input is appreciated!

I dont reckemond switching to propane but if you want to you can do a dule gas conversion witch will save you money.. As far as looking the car over before you buy it have a body man look it over for any fram damage if you can its a good idea to have a mechanic hopefuly they can give the car a good look before you buy it. As far as weight how much are going to haul? If its a lot of weight I wood suggest a blazer I know its not a ford but a 90 blazer can haul a lot fo weight and they are pretty good on gas. I hope this helps you out..
