Hi I am a new cv guy and have a 05 crown and it has rough idle and rough acceleration under low rpm load also check engine light came on when this was going on and flashes now. If you idle it and slowly rev it up it has a rough spot in low rpm as well. PLease help <

You need to see what the code is. Might be a dirty throttle body. Go on YouTube to see how to clean it. Also, I cleaned one on my other car and the light came back on. Found out the TB shaft was dry after cleaning and needed some lubrication. Good Luck... |

You need the code to do anything. Find that out and then you can figure what is happening.
Go to www.crownvic.net to see what you can find out.

You have a miss fire on one or more of the cylinders get it scanned at autozone for free and see what clynder is missing and replace the bad coil over plug. Anytime your check engine light flashes it means you have a mis fire |
