While at the JYs, I snagged some spare parts, most of which are now stowed in the trunk behind the carpet. But the wheel obviously won't fit anywhere else, so it slides around back there.

The dented wheel lip eventually became a missing wheel lip, so after visiting a few local JYs, I swapped it.

The SES light was on for P0135 (oxygen sensor heater, B1S1), and a quick test showed the sensor was actually burned out internally. So it was replaced and the code was cleared.

Pressure washing is the quickest way to get rid of most of the leaves, dust, dirt, & mildew on & in the body. Careful aiming keeps most of the water out of the interior, but it dries pretty quickly in this weather.

After trying at least 2 dozen times at least 6 methods and 2 scantools, these fobs are going back to chy-nah.

That should get rid of most of the ants. Both remotes have failed, and it looks like a scantool is required to program replacements. But even GM technicians with the GM scantool have trouble programming GM remotes with new batteries.
