Hey guys, I'm in Fresno, California and I just graduated college and got a new car with a warranty! This means I simply don't have time to care for my first car I got 6 years ago, my 79 ford ranchero. Its white with maroon interior. I had the engine and tranny rebuilt about 8k miles ago. Used to be a 351m, now I had a shop use an article from an older hot rod magazine issue I found and they added the 400 crank and bored it over .030 to 406ci. It has an rv cam, silv-o-lite pistons, shaved decks, everything pretty much new and I have all the reciepts from the rebuild. The fmx tranny got a makeover about the same time and I added a trans-go shift kit and TCI break away torque convertor. Swapped out the stock 2.42 gears for 3.50 limited slip. Has 15x8 cragar ss rims all around and about 30k miles on the 235/60r15 tires. It has a kenwood excelon cd player, polk ex II component 6&1/2s and 3/4" tweets in the doors. Car is in good shape compared to most its age, has 113k total miles. Trying to sell for $2500 obo. and yes, if you are in California it will pass smog. email at slow79ford@yahoo.com if interested, thanks, Matt |
