My name is Ricardo Diaz, Ford has been the choice of vehicles for my family for at least 3 generations. The first ford I remember in my family was a 1967 ford fairlane wagon, next a 1973 LTD, next 1979 Fairmont, Next an 1982 Ford Econoline 350 custom van. Hell, my First was a 74 gran torino sport, my second was a 84 bronco II, had a 91 escort GT, had a 99 and have an 02 mercury cougar. I also own a 1954 tudor customline (sitting for 13 years) and a 36 foot RV with a Ford chasis and a ford v10. OK thats my vehicle history!!!

About me, I grew up in Highland IN, joined the USMC for 6 yrs where I was stationed at Camp Pendleton at Las Pulgas. My MOS was a 3521 (mechanic) where I was actually pretty good so they put me in a 3522 shop (advanced mechanics), that was 1986. I was really kickn ass and taking names got CPL (E-4) in 13 mo, a yr later got disabled and was discharged medically in 89. From that point on I couldn't do mechanics work anymore, went to college and changed careers. Fly a head to 2002, still disabled, but now retired medically (100% service connected disability) bought this 67 ranchero with the hope that I can restore her, but alas, money is now really tight and my mechanic skills are just about nill. Not to mention I have a disability to my spine and knees.

I would love for anybody in the area to help get the ball rolling on this chero, ever since that 67 fairlane wagon I was in love with this vehicle.

I will soon get enough money to buy a new engine and tranny , and hopefully some other stuff. If you are interested please email me

Just found this post. Sounds like you've been through it. I apologize no one has got back to you, as I said in another post of yours most everyone hangs out at the www.Ranchero.us site. I will let you know when it's back up and running, it appears to have a glitch. Don't give up on us, we are a great bunch of folks. Its just the other forum gets the attention. I would love to see pictures of your 67. Sounds great.
