That is the same color looks like it might have the same wheels, same chrome headlight doors on and on as my 67 except...........I LOVE the stripes and the hood! I am just about ready to get mine back from he body shop and I couldnt get them to do the stripes.they said it was too hard to line them up over the car and it would cost 1500.00!!!!! They obviously didnt want to do them.Where did you get them done at? Great lookin ride and I hope to see more of it.

I had the paint and body done at Golden Hammer in El Cajon. Nick did a awesome job! I am delivering my 56 Chevy to him in September and kissing it goodbye for 4-6 months next 
Sorry Norm, no green for me  I have a purple Honda though 
I am showing at the California AutoFest at California Speedway on the 24-25th. Wish me luck! I even get to drive her around the track!  |

Thanks cheri!! Ill give them a call...what did you end up getting your mustang up 2 at thetrack? I didnt find out about the event till too late

They had pace car rules on the track and the pace car was going 65. If you let him get ahead you could do some "catch up" speeds so I got her up to 90 at one point out there. It was a blast being out on the track! |

The grill was actually the hardest item to find when I was buying the Shelby look for this car. I paid as much for that grill with the headlight housings that the hood and front end piece put togather! It is the only piece that is actually Shelby because no one makes a aftermarket one. Those lights in the middle are the same size as the stock headlights and they are wired to be my high beams. When I hit the highbeam switch all four light up and the street just glows in front of me
I am going on vacation for the next two weeks, man I am going to miss that car!
When I come home I will be getting ready to take her to LA to get the supercharger installed. I hope to have that done the end of November or beginning of December.  |
