There are a total of 4 Ford trucks being built. 3 for the purpose of off road and 1 will be a street rod.

1) 79 Bronco - This truck is being redone. Upgrades include a 460, taller suspension and 37 inch tires

2) 80s bronco - This truck is being planted on a 70s driveline and chassis. The gearing and tire size are being upgraded to 4:10 gears and 35 inch tires.

3) 77/79 F150 4x4 High Boy - This truck will be raised to a max body lift of 3 inches. 33 inch tires. The box needs repaired and we have a perfect 1977 cab. It currently has a 351M. This motor will have a few performance parts, but the future goal is to eventually upgrade to a 429/460, 4:10 gears and 35 inch tires. This vehicle is being painted pewter with silver pearl.

4) 77 F150 2x4 - This truck is great already. It has a great body, and good engine: Of course we are swapping out from a 351M to a 351W, taking a mould of our 76 F150 front chin spoiler and making one for this truck. This truck is going to be painted blue with a pearl. It will be equipped with the rims from the 1995 low rider F150.

Other members will add more information on these trucks. Check back often for more updates!

The 80's Bronco is an 87, it will be mated to a 78 bronco frame with the old 4" susp.lift out of my 79 &a 3" body lift. It will ride on 35's. My 79 will get 6" coils, a rear shackle flip, it's new 460, exhast,PTO winch in frt. move the ramsey to the back & build it's new bumper, finish the cage, and it all starts with the 4:10 posi frt. diff that we pulled out today, being as I have been driving with a center pin epoxyed in the side of my diff for 2 yr's, a damaged pinion & case frm. the same explosion!

Well the parts truck is pretty much stripped today, cbdan, johnafink, bowie,& myself , tore out the d60 & the rear springs, ramstien & a wkmate came out to lend a hand, and ended up taking the d60, for his ramchger, the springs will wk. very nicely in the Bronc, to match up with the new 6" coils, that showed up today in the shop. the shackle flip will be happening posthaste, as will the frt.lift, new shocks & driveshafts. This will of course mean the posi / trussed, frt. diff will go in at the same time, I'd better get a rear trussed so I can swap in a renforced housing while I have it apart, BIGGER, BETTER, STRONGER!!

So I picked up 2 of the new shocks today, the others will be in on Fri., along with the rear spring bushing kit. We built my bulletproof trackarm tonite, used a hiem joint for the diff end & a urethane bushing set on the frame end, it uses 1 1/4seamless, 3/16 wall tubing for the body. Still shooting to lift this weekend, got alot of fabbin' to do to make that happen.

So last wed. the bronc decided it was tired of looking at all it's new parts sitting around in the shop, I made the mistake of installing the new trackarm & a new drag link on tues. nite. Then it knew all those parts laying around were it's. Bowie & I were going up to the machine shop to pick up a customers head, commenting how nice the bronc was driving with the new strg. parts in, hell we even took it down deerfoot at a 100k, something that had become scary as of late. After pulling off Deerfoot we stopped at the intersection & went to turn, when BANG!! The left rear backing plate hit the ground, & the tire went merrily rolling around the intersection, I instantly knew, the bronc broke an axle. Phone the tow truck, decide that we are a danger where we are sitting, drive 1/2 a block on 3 wheels, the faces of the lookie loo's were priceless, all we could think of was "the log rider" ( Highrider video) , Wait for John with the tow truck, get it to the shop, drop it on stands & proceed to rip out the undercarrage! So fast forward, the frt. is lifted 8", the new trussed, posi, 44 is in with 7* camber bushings, new shocks, all new urethane bushings. The rear has had a shackle flip , re ached F250/100 springs the trussed 9" housing has been fitted & the new traction bars are layed out. The hood is now at 5', man is it lookin' sweet ! It's been alot of work, with alot more to come.

So finally it's up!! & running, the rear susp. was a pain to the end.The rear of the truck was way to high, and even with weight, wouldn't pull down to a respectable hight. We pulled the springs again this morn. took the 2nd.3/4 ton leaf out & replaced it with the recurved 1/2 ton one, that leveled out the truck, & gave me a wikid ride , articulation is increadable,& smooth to drive. with the old 35's on , we have 30" to the rockers & 5'5" to the top of the box. Now I gota' put some side steps on it to get in!
