Hows everybody doing? I am new to this site and own a '93 Bronco EB.....I have 193K miles on it, and have a problem with sloppy steering, and I was wondering how to fix this. I understand that most all older bronco's have this problem but never have heard of how to fix it!!

Thanks,
Clint!

With 193k miles on it, it could need new upper, lower ball joints, new tie rods, new steering gear box, new steering shaft, or any combination of the above. The condition of the front tires would, of course, also effect steering.
There is also an adjustment screw atop the steering gear box which can tighten steering if everything else is in good shape.

I think large, wide mud tires also tend to "follow" the contours of the street and terrain, creating a feeling of "wandering" steering.
