Newbie w/ Fairlane I just purchased. Original owner sold to me with 53K Original miles all verified. I want to swap engine to 289 OR 302. This car has a 3 Speed C4 automatic. Are there any issues other than having to get a larger Bell housing, and a heavier balance. I know this Engine work will require some new mounts, etc., possible upgrade in some front suspension, and upgrade to disk brakes.

But transmission should work correct?

THX New to a 1967 Fairlane
