Been a big fan of the P71 since I was a little kid. I finally got a 2010 P7B with 79K miles and have some questions.
1.it has 85K miles and 9500 idle hours... How normal is this? 9500 is a lot of hours.
2. Is there a way for me to find out what department it came from?
3. I have replaced a shit ton of parts like I paid twice for it, is this common?
Thanks all I love reading more about the CVPI!

1. Idle hours? Yes that is pretty darn normal for these cars they spend most of their time sitting.
2. Department? That really typically depends on the DMV that first registered the vehicle and whether they even track that publicly. In Utah you can do a DMV search for free on public listings, sometimes also a CarFax can pull more info than a DMV search.
3. Parts? That would tell me that the Car may not have been maintained well. Usually these cars are in good shape but it also depends on what you have had to replace, for instance when they tear out the police goodies they usually cause some interior issues, sometimes this also hurts the charging system.
