I assume you mean 550 and smaller series trucks....
I have five Ford diesels two Chevrolet diesels and three Dodge diesels ( all the Dodges are currently NOT running ) Have not had any speakable trouble from the bowties and only one problem with one of the Fords ( dealer took care of it immedeately ) Power upgrades I have no idea but bang for buck, the Fords have it sewn up.
