I need to get the #1 sparkplug out of my Van engine! I have swapped out the other 7 but can't get to the last one. It is the frontmost passengerside plug and I can't even reach the plug boot to remove it! Is there a trick to getting this plug out? I'm stumped. Thanks. |

Sometimes it's easier to get at the plug from underneath the vehicle. Are you able to do it this way? Can't way I've ever worked on a van before but thought I'd make this suggestion.

Finally got it out! If you've never tackled changinging plugs and wires you are in for a real treat!!! To access the front two plugs on the passenger side of the engine I had to go over the coil spring mount plate. Don't even ask me how I threaded the new wires to the passenger side sparkplugs! Lets just say they aren't routed like the factory wires!! What an absolute nightmare! the engineer that designed this crap should be proud of himself....yeah, right. |
