Hi all,
it's me again. I am having alot of trouble with my 2003 ford escape. It has 87,000 miles on it and it seems as if it is just falling apart. I got in it the other day and went to back out of the driveway. I put the shift lever in "R" and it was as if I put it in neutral. It does not make any noise, but if I rev the engine it will move backwards a little, but has no back up power. The transmission fluid is ok. I am puzzled. I really do not know how automatic transmissions work to start with. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
