This car has a 302 v8 and I am interested in increasing the torque and hp to a reasonable level. Not interested in adding superchargers or anything fancy. I am looking for a cheap and simple power upgrade. Generally, I would like to know if Mustang parts can be used in this Crown Victoria.

1) Mustang headers on a crown victoria? Can it be done? If so, would it require a brand new exhaust system?

2) Want to convert the transmission to a manual? A guy on car domain mentioned that any manual mustang transmission from '95 onward would require the drive shaft to be shortened. Is it possible to get a 5.0 liter mustang manual without having to cut down the driveshaft?

3) Would like to install a forced cold air intake. What is the best way to build a hood scoop and connect the scoop to the filter and throttle body?
