I have a 2001 Crown victoria P71, today the turn signals, brake lights, and hazards stopped working. After some research I noticed a faulty fuse in the interior fuse box and replaced it. Now the hazards and brake lights (all three) are working. The turn signals are not. Since the hazards work i know it isn't the bulbs. I know there is a turn signal relay located in a separate box between the steering column and air conditioning unit. Im weary to open it up because it looks like the relay is soldered into the circuitboard? I am not too familiar with these cars yet, and could really use some help!! What should i do/check next?

Ted, I have the same problem on a 97 P71 and sent the Lighting Control Module out for repair and it did not fix the the turn signal problem. I also removed and cleaned the multi-switch in the steering column. If you find a fix, please let me know. Brian |
