Gents, I just hit 100.000 on my '03 and although I now it will go the distance I have an opportunity to pick up an '07 motor/tranny with 25.000 on it. Two questions: will an '07 fit an '03 and how can I reset the odometer to reflect the correct mileage, or can I ?

Not sure about the engine/tranny fit....however the reset of the odometer is a different matter entirely !!!

Beside the fact(s) that you might have a mechanical gear vs digital instrument panel...state & federal laws should be reviewed about changing the odometer settings. I have not followed this line for some time but even w/title changes...the odometer reading is a very sensitive issue w/the license office....!!!

Just check around...now a day...you might have to claim an engine swap (donor engine) as a 'salvage title'...then have a certified mechanic or shop provide "statement" they did the work...testifying to the mileage of the 'donor engine'...then submitted to the state vehicle license office for a new/updated title...???

Just wondering....
