New to site...currently on my 3rd, and hopefully final Bronco, unless Ford Builds a New One!!!!
My current Build is a 1996 all stock w/ 256K... I am the 3rd owner(original owner gave to his grand son in 2006...I bought as trade in in 2010...after your normal fixes (tune up, Brakes, Tires) I upgraded the stereo to a flip out DVD/Navi unit, Kenwood Speakers all around, 700 watt 5 channel amp and 2 12"'s...then replaced the capt's chairs and center console with a 40/20/40 split bench
from a 1996 F150... Cruise Control Repaired last week... as well as getting my hands on that elusive "Cargo Cover" off E-bay for $50.00!!
Next upgrade I want to do is the exaust...it scares me because I know one manifold bolt is broken off at the head & i really don't want to pull the heads!!!!!
Keep you posted!!!

Welcome! I'm new, too. I love Fords, especially my Ranchero.
I have the same problem with the broken bolt...my genius mechanic temp fixed it until I can afford to replace the motor. It has lasted far longer then we thought. A different bolt, a large washer, and some kinda putty. Scared me when I saw it, that was before I knew more about his incredible mechanic skills.
I love New Orleans, by the way. Our favourite vacation spot. Have survived two Mardi Gras, next year: Pirate Week! |
