I have a 94 F 150 and Murphy's Law has set in with regards to air bag lights. I started our having a code 34, 22 and 51 and immediately replaced the clockspring, checked wiring and replaced the blown thermal fuse. Not more than 10 mins of driving after reconnecting power to the battery, I got a code 22 (rear airbag sensor and bracked output circuit shorted to battery voltage) and later the 51 (thermal fuse) again. Shortly thereafter I began getting a 13 (air bag circuit shorted to ground). I replaced the rear sensor with one from the junkyard and continue to get codes. All of the wiring from the sensor to the module looks good. Should I replace the module or send mine off for repair? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
