I recently purchased a 1997 CV Police Interceptor...nice car ...drives great but I want to put Carpet and different seats from a parts car. What other year models would swap interiors with this year?

Also I may have to replace the driver side door because it was cut to make way for the spotlight. What years other than the '97 will fit?

Who has a site that might help me with other parts that i might want to find replacements or swaps??

Thanks !!

You might try www.crownvic.net, www.crownvic.us, and www.p71interceptor.com for more CV P71 info.

I believe most of the interiors from 1992 to 1997 are the same. You can replace the carpeting with "direct replacement" carpeting (already cut for the car, or choose whatever type/color you want and mold it in yourself. (There are several customizing sites that explain how.) As far as seats, any seat will fit, IF you have a slide rail that bolts to the seat frame and to the floor, or IF you buy a custom slider that is universal. I have removed the slider section from a seat and adapted it to fit another seat. Takes a little work, sometimes a little spot welding, but it will fit.

You may also want to just start Google searching any and all ideas online. I have run across ideas from sites for trucks to use on a car. Cajun genius at work!

I normally use www.RockAuto.com for parts I need, because of the lower prices (even with shipping) Any body parts can get expensive unless you have a parts car that will fit. Try the website www.autosalvageparts.org for used parts.

It's just a SUPER-DUTY Mustang GT Sedan. 198K miles and still rolling HARD.

1997 Crown Victoria P71 SVT *** ex-US Marshall service (the CAR)
STOCK?? I bet it was modified.

13.26 @ 107.24 MPH 1/4 mi w/ me, tools, & full tank of 93 octane

I added CAI, NICHE 19 X 8.5 " wheels with 245/45ZR 19 rubbers, and completely rebuilt the front end with poly bushings, Kooks headers, 2 1/4inch exhaust, TCI 2200-2400 rpm Stall converter

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos
