Newbie! owner of 01 MGM like many others say i feel the upgrade in MGMs are over due my goal is to produce 300hp and add a pose traction rear end if im naming it correctly with the proper toqure gain for 300hp. im not looking for a hot rod!!!!!!! just a balance of power that can carry a set of 24\\\\" rims without adding strain to the motor or trans without worry im open to all suggestion currently the only proformance upgrades that were made to this stock LS sedan was a k/n filter and duals before my motor went out i was looking into the best choice between a mustang gt motor or a p/i motor thank u in advance |

Are you talking 300 to the wheels?

Ummm...The 24's themselves add stress to the drivetrain. |

I just added a K&N Air induction filter, Long tube headers (2.5") and Magna Flow exhausts. It is putting out 245 to the rear wheels. That's over 300at the flywheel. |
