Can someone tell me what engine I have just been given? The only numbers I have are from the two barrel intake, and from a sticker on the pass side valve cover. The thing is four hours away, so I am relying on info given to me by someone who knows diddly squat about engines. It is a smallblock Ford, distributor in front on driver's side, as is the oil filter. That is about it for info for now. The numbers are as follows--
----intake---- D70E AC
----sticker on valve cover in large print HK353AA

I hope this will at least tell me what the engine is.

thanks

D7OE = 1977 Fairlane or Torino engine
err
edit:
Fairlane 1962-68; Torino 1969-76; LTD II 1977-79; LN7 1982-83
so it would be from an LTD II

one other thing, the std engine was a 2bbl 302 (351 in californa)
