Here's a good idea!
Hence this is a gooood site for fords and four wheelin and it would be a good idea to have a registry or a place to post four wheeling places. Sorted by states. Unless someone knows some good places on the net for a Colorado based four wheeling place web site! Wow, that's a mouthfull. Just an idea for us beginning four wheelers that don't wanna go exploring and get lost the first time
Just a suggestion/idea! |

Ryan,
This could be done if others are interested. Here's what we could do for fields on the form when submitting a wheeling place:
Location Name
Location City
Location State
Location Country
Difficulty (1-10?)
Description
Type (trailriding, mud bog, rock crawling, etc)
Directions/GPS coordinates
Events (links to events in the event registry that have occured at this location)
Events from the events registry could be a part of the "4x4 location registry". This way if an event occured at the location in the registry, you could also see pictures, too.
Feedback from any other folks interested would be helpful.

Wow, that would be great. I've been to web sites that have COMPLETELY INCOMPLETE entries.. hehe like that? Make it so you cannot submit a 4x4 trail without entering ALL the information. I would think that the GPS coordinates could be optional, but everything else would be great. If you want, I could sort of moderate that part of the web site and when entries are put in I can go to REI and look at the map for it and put the map # and price on the web site so it would be easier to find, etc. I have many a connections in differnt places also. I know alot of good mud, and trail places too. I've got the GPS coordinates for them too. I think this would be a great addition to this website! |
