door-sw-4.jpg If the switch is still installed, pulling the black pin PERFECTLY STRAIGHT out with firm smooth force usually achieves this effect. But if the sleeve is seized, simply unscrew the switch and remove its connector. (Don't let the connector slip back into the cowl, especially on the driver's side of '92-97 trucks.) For uninstalled switches, gently tap on the connector to slide the brass sleeve as far out of the nut as it will go.
