1988 Ford Bronco XLT, 5.8L, C6 Trans w/o electric shift. Need new Neutral Safety and Backup Light Switch with a 6 pin connector. Ford Parts furnished the following PN: E7TZ-7A247- A but there are no compatible aftermarket switches available. This P/N is for a C6 with electric shift but my transmission is mechanical shift, however it does have the 6 pin connector.

Does anyone have knowledge of a workaround for this? Most popular replacement is the SMP #NS-29 which is a four pin connector. I would also need a wiring schematic for the switch circuit if I need to rewire it to use a four pin switch. Any suggestions would be welcome.
