I have an '85 full size Bronco in need of a spare tire carrier. Does anyone know which years will fit?

Depends on what size yer spare tire is. Is yer spare tire carrier on the outside?
80-86 on the Bronco are all the same as far as I know.
I have one for sale or trade. MY spare is a stock 235-75-/15

What is the biggest size tire you can carry on one of these without breaking something?

if your rig didnt come with one, your better off fabbing one up yourself. the stock ones had brackets under the sheetmetal. if you bolt on a stock carrier without them it would pull the bolts right out cuz of the wieght.
