No communication between the data link and a scanner
Any suggestions

Turn off key, disconnect scanner, reconnect scanner, and turn on key. If that don't work, you may have 1) dead scanner or 2) broken connection in data link adapter.

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos
