Hello everyone. New member and new owner of a 2005 CV with only 155,000 miles. I can't believe I bought a used car with that many miles on it but I did and I'll tell you why. I'm 62 years old and grew up driving big American cars back in the late sixties and seventies. Starting in 1974 I worked as a drilling mud engineer and had company cars, mostly big four door sedans and the Ford LTD was always a popular choice. Anyway, I haven't owned a big sedan in many years and have always wanted another full sized car to drive so just a couple of weeks ago I came across this Crown Victoria. This is a beautiful Albuquerque one owner car with almost ten years of service records to review and was bought from and serviced by the same Ford dealer for all those years. After one test drive I was hooked. What a joy to drive! I'll be surprised if I put much more then 2000 miles a year on this car so I'm hoping to own it for quite a few years.

A quick follow up question for high mileage owners. The engine has no drips and is really clean but would you recommend using a high mileage oil? Thanks.
