does a 95 f-150 with a 302 have a mass air? if so where is it? this is the model that has two hoses running form the airbox and nothing between that and the throtle body. If there is no mass air should i add one before making other upgrades (like intake and exhaust) |

I am surprised but it sounds like you do not have Mass Air. I thought everything in 95 and 96 had it. But you don't need it to do upgrades. An intake and exhaust are perfect upgrades and are obvioulsy bolt on. What exhaust are you looking at getting?

From what I remember (at least with the full-size Broncos), the only 1995 vehicles that had mass-air were some California vehicles but all 1996 vehicles do have mass air. I would imagine that this would apply to F150s as well but Ford has been known to do some strange things...

for exhaust i'm thinking shorty headers and then dual 3" with glass packs and no more cats but i don't yet know if this is a good idea. |

3" exhaust is way too big for that setup. For your 302, I would go with dual 2.25" exhaust. I would also consider full-length headers as opposed to the shorty's, you'll get a little better sound and power out of full-lengths. With regards to cats...it's up to you depending on what the local laws are, if you do go with them, Summit makes nice, cheap "high-flow" cats that'll work just fine. The glass packs will sound great with the headers.

I have a 1994 F-150 with the 5.0, and it hs mass air. Yours should be too. It should be right next to your air box. |
