I just put my dick cepek 4" lift in my 96. when we finished three long days later my cousin told me to take it for a spin. i get out into the street and punch it. my cousin gets this emergency face and waves me back. he says i have a severe axel wrap problem. I think of course i do, i now have these 4" blocks under my springs and had to lose the sway bar that probably prevented it before. he says overload springs would fix it and he wants to use my old radius arms as torsion bars. i am looking for cheap but effective solution.
any suggestions?

ps. any opinions on the super lift steering set up? is it worth it? does anybody else make one?

Hi Troy,

Axle wrap can be cured by going with new rear leaf springs and shorter blocks or you can buy a set of ladder bars. You will get more lift out of taller leaf springs so that is the route I would go. When I had a 6" suspension lift on my Bronco, I had 4" blocks but ended up going with Skyjacker rear springs and shorter blocks.

Your stock radius arms are pretty short and I'm not sure how well they would work to prevent axle wrap.

I had the superlift steering setup on my Bronco and it drove quite nicely. If it is in your budget, I would go for it.
