I have an 02 Crown Victoria (Non-Police). I am looking to swap the rims out with something a little better looking than the steelies that came on it. I found a set of rims from a 2007 Cadillac CTS that appear that they might fit, but I want to know for sure before I buy them. The specs for each are below.
02 Crown Vic:
Size: 16x7
Pattern: 5x114.3
Center Bore: 63.4
07 CTS:
Size: 16x7
Pattern: 5x115
Center Bore: 70.3
Will I be able to get away with using hub spacers to overcome the difference in the center bores between the two rims? The other concern is my bolt pattern is 114.3, and the CTS rims are 115. I'm also not sure if the backspacing will create enough clearance for everything, so I want to see if anyone here would know that information before I spend the money on the rims. Thank you in advance! |

The wheel offset is not shown and that needs to be compared first. The hub bore is not as big of a deal assuming that the lug nuts are tapered. Some wheels are hub centered while others are lug nut centered or a combination of both. As far as the bolt pattern, most people experience no issue with the slight difference. |

7J 16 ET12 for the Vic, THD not listed
7J16 ET46 for the CTS rims, THD is M12 x 1.5
Not sure what THD stands for, to be honest. Thats just what I could find. |

CTS offset looks to be 51mm. So far on the Vic all I've found is the offset is listed as L or Standard, though I found one place that says the offset on the Vic rim is 12mm. That seems to be a huge difference, but I'm not sure what that difference means. I've seen some American Racing rims that have a +40mm offset. Would it be that big of a difference to go with the 51mm versus the 40mm? |

The offset is about the same as 2003+ Crown Vic wheels so 1.5" spacers(front, 2" rear) would solve that part, and you can get spacers made to "correct" the lug pattern(but that is really not an issue) and have a ring for the larger outer hub on the wheel.
