So I bought my car a couple months ago. It started about a week after I bought it. It always takes a second to start. If you try right away it just cranks like it wants to start. I always have to wait about a min with the key on for it to start. It always starts just not right away. It seems like to me it needs to build pressure up. I don't see or smell and gas leaks. So I was told by a couple people and I was thinking myself that it was the fuel pump. I bought a fuel pump and sending unit and replaced it no problem. The first day it was fine. Started right up. After that it does the same thing again. Before that I replaced the spark plugs cause they just needed to be done. Could it be the starter? Or Crankshaft sensor? It drives fine and idles good. I don't have lack of acceleration either. It almost kinda seems like it's getting to much oxygen. Like the air/gas mixture isn't right. I also have no trouble codes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Oh another thing is the throttle body has a date of 11/20/13 replaced on it. When I replaced the spark plugs and took off the cai I noticed the throttle body was kind of stuck open a little. Does that matter? Isn't it suppose to be closed tight.
