Hello everyone, new to the forum!

I have been searching for the correct answer on wheel spacers, and have across several USEFUL posts but not complete answer. I am attempting to put factory wheels from an 07 Mustang V6 (16" with spinner center cap) on my 87 LTD LX wagon, but unfortunately the front spindle will not fit through the wheel... the wheel is not deep enough to accommodate the bearing race! Hits the center cap lip and stops! Going to need spacers to make them fit...

On one of the more useful spacer posts, members said that hubcentric spacers would help with vibration and I am all on board. Vendors are not placing much information about their spacers on their sites or ads so I am having trouble finding a good fit. Lets say you buy a 1.5\\" hubcentric spacer in the correct center-bore of 70.5MM, is the bore long enough to accommodate the 2\\" of spindle? I see some that are machined with an inner lip which screams interference.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Caleb
