1988 Ford Bronco XLT, 5.8L, C6 Trans, w/o electric shift and need to replace the Neutral Safety and Backup Light Switch with a new one. Ford Parts PN: E7TZ-7A247- A is the current one installed. It has a 6 pin connector and is for a C6 trans with electric shift even though my trans has no electric shift.

Most popular replacement is the SMP #NS-29 which is a four pin connector. I would also need a wiring schematic for the switch circuit if I need to rewire it to use a four pin switch. Does anyone have a workaround for this. I would also need a wiring schematic in order to rewire the circuits. Does anyone have knowledge of a workaround for this?

Any suggestions would be welcome.
