I have a 1998 Ford Taurus 3.0 SE. I have a K&N filter and a Flowmaster muffler. My next upgrade I am considering is the MSD Stacker Ignition or either a Superchips or Jet Chip upgrade. I have seen a few posts about the chip upgrade. There has been talk about having to run higer octane gas. My question is, should i install the MSD first? I spoke to another ignition company who told me I should not run anything like this. Of course, the other thing is I cant find a suitable place to install the MSD without having to mount it inside the car. Secondly, If I am looking to wake up a few extra ponies for my Taurus, should I go with a chip? What about underdrive pulleys? I looked into replacing the underdrive pulleys as well when I replace the serpinetine belt, but can not get any of the companies to give me a striaght answer to whether their pulleys will work with the 3.0L V-6 engine.

Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks!
