i just had to replace my throttle pos. sensor on a 92 bronco w/ stock 302. according to the manual, to adjust it you loosen the 2 screws and turn the sensor until your multimeter reads one volt.problem is the screw holes would need to oblong in order to turn the sensor, but they're just straight holes. the original sensor was th same way. anybody ever run into this, or know another way of adjusting it?

I had the samething with a Lin. Town Car, Found that they gave me the wrong sensor to begin with.
Then I had to go back like 8 times to get the right one, Do not know why this was happen, but also found that it was not just the one parts store but all of them in the area had the same problem.

My solution was to purchase my sensor from the Ford Dealer Direct.

Then I found out it was not the TP Sensor to begin with, Grunt.
