Well needless to say I am not having a good day . I went for a half hour ride to pick up my amplifier from being fixed , on the way there I noticed the oil press drop at a red light . So then I pulled into a parking lot to check the oil , was a little low so I added a half quart . This was obviously not my problem , as soon as I hit the gas the oil press was up to normal but dropped when I let off again . So I decided to take a slow ride home but that only lasted a mile or so and Bang clunk clunk . Luckly I drive a tow truck that can handle my truck . So I was able to get her home .

I spoke with a friend of mine who builds race engines a few times in the past about building my motor . He gave me a price aroung $1,800 to make mine into a 406 , 30 over and stroked . I am thinking this is the ticket for me . He says it will make around 350hp and an extra 100lbs of torque . What do you guys think worth the money or not .

94 Bronco , 351 W , 18" Lift , 46" Tires , 6-12" Subs , Too much more

GO FOR IT !!!!
If you got the cash do it.
with all the other mods on her why not wake up the engine,
you have to rebuild anyway.
why not do it right the first time.

351W to a 406 - I know of a 408, which would be 0.030" over bore and 4.000" stroke, you going to put a chevy motor in that truck ?.

At $1800, I sure hope that is the cost of just the parts or he will have a blown motor real soon.

Needs a 4340 Forged Crankshaft, Forged Con Rods, Forged Pistons (depends on C.R. he will be using) but if you are getting Forged everything else, what is a little extra on the pistons, then you got a Bullit.
