I am told i need to replace them, and at about 70 per side from what the shop is telling me, i just find it hard to believe. Is this a diffulcult job replacing them? Thanks.

It is not that difficult as long as you have an industrial press. Wait, nevermind. I am thinking of ball joints. But I would still have the shop do it. Be sure to get the adjustable ones so that any future allignments are cheaper and easier. $70 a side is not unreasonable as it does take a bit of time.
