I guess as one of the founders of superford.org, it's only appropriate that I make a little intro for myself. I'm Kirk. Between working and trying to have some semblance of a life, I'm the main developer of the site.

I'm a programmer / database guy by trade and by hobby. Most of the behind-the-scenes work here at superford.org was done by me. I'm a big proponent of in-house development, which is why superford.org almost exclusively uses applications that we've developed ourselves. The benefits of this include reduced cost (believe it or not, running a hobbyist site is nowhere near a money-making venture), and much better integration between the different applications.

I recently bought a house and was without internet access for a number of months, so I'm just starting to get back into development full-swing. The forums are just the first step in a number of new features we have planned for the site. It feels good to be rolling full steam again.

Back in college (gosh, was it really three years ago already? ) I was the proud owner of a 1988 Mustang GT. Reality eventually set in and I bought a 2000 F-150. However, now that my income has finally reached a level where I could potentially afford a second vehicle for fun only, and being that the 2005 Cobra is quite possibly the sexiest car of all time... well, the cops here in Minnesota had better be on high alert come fall 2004!

I am also interested in having a hobby like you have for the hobby as you have to get money in large quantities. I believe that not all hobbies drain our money
