After playing around in the snow last night, my '90 bronco seems to be stuck in four wheel low. Unfortunately, I have the electronic 4 wheel shifter, with an automatic. After playing around with the gear shifter and the buttons, I was eventually able to kick the 4x4 and low gear lights off, yet the transfer case was still engaged. I tried backing up, and going forward again and again while fooling with the buttons, but still nothing. Whats the deal?

It could be the shift motor on the side of the t/case got wet and stuck in position. Try tapping on it with the handle of a screwdriver while someone pushes the button. It could also be the control module located inside the passenger kick panel. Listen for a clicking sound while pushing the button. If you can't hear it, check the fuse, or have the module tested.
