I know this isn't engine or drivetrain but not sure where else to post it.
We need to remove the gear selector on a 66 Fairlane automatic. Not sure how this comes apart. Is what we need to do is remove the collar that the shift handle mounts to. The shift handle holes in the collar are worn out causing lots of slop in the shift mech. Anybody have a procedure for this and maybe a parts breakdown?
Next we need to find a new collar and selector handle. Any ideas where we might find these items? Most likely Junk yard?

I had to do a repair on my 67 for the same problem... I'll post info on how I did the repair later today.
