Hey...what are you guys averaging on mpg? I have a 92 with a 3" suspension lift, only running 31's....try to drive easy and not run the air when I can stand it....still only getting 11 or 12 mpg........ |

thats not bad, I have a 94 with no lift on 31's with minor mods and I am only getting 10 maybe 12 at very best |

1996 Eddie Bauer Bronco, 5.8L original engine with 292600 miles. cumulative mileage (city-80%, highway-20%) is 15.8mpg.

I you really want to tank your MGP just re-gear to 4:56 and put some 35" mud tires. I'm happy with 9mpg.
I got a 1996 with everything to help MPG ( mass air flow, OBDII) I have the manual 5 speed transmission with a 302. I'm still lucky to hit the 15mpg around town.
These trucks are designed like bulldozers. Not much in aerodynamics. We just bully our way through..... that is what I love about them |
