I am going to put a built 460 in my 64 lincoln even if i have to weld new mounts on the windshield.

I want to know if any of you ford fans have have attempted this or heard about someone doing it. I have not had the time to pull my motor yet or look over a 460 to see what is needed to connect it all up. I plan on buying a new transmission and have a new driveline made.

A prompt reply would be greatly appreciated!

well your taking on a big job...good luck
you will also need to get a new radiator hoses... and of course you need the whole
460 pullies water pump, alternator braket etc:
I have know idea how the block mounts in the 64 Lincoln, the 460 moungs w
on the cross member using a thru bolt...
and don't forget about the exhaust you will need to make up a set of headers for the setup..
hope your up to the task...
Don't know why you are changing motors, but you might be better off having you present
enigne rebuilt along with the tranny..
