Hey guys I am looking for some input and possibly some feedback from someone who has done this before . I am in the process of building my 351w for the Bronco and was looking to put a Vortech on it but came up with the idea of 6-71 and dual carbs . I have found only one company that makes the kit and it is around $3,200 . I was wondering if it is even possible to remove the efi and run this setup . As far as I can see the only issues are the distributor and vacuum setups . If anyone has some knowledge in this issue it would be appreciated .
Thanks
94 Bronco , 351 W , 18" Lift , 46" Tires , 6-12" Subs , Too much more |

First - is this a stock block ?.
If so, get the idea out of your head.
Now,(not a Big Mud sling, gear jamming...etc. off road only truck)but a still streetable and go any where driveable truck, I found the Vortech or Paxton (Turbo or Superchargers) great, gives you a lot of HP & Turq. increase.
Please note : do not try this at home, smiling, something tells me you are.
This is what I did -
I got a 351W Sportsman 9.200" Block (Do not make this one any more), Good news is you can still get the 9.500" Block, then I started my build up, taken to 408cid with 540HP or 550HP all motor, EFI still, Also O-Ringed the Block and used Felpro Loc-wire head gaskets (More streetable) but the use of cooper head gaskets was nice too, I also used Lunati 4.000" Crankshaft, 6.125" Con Rods, 1.078" CH Piston all forged for 1000+ HP, Main grille also Solid roller Cam...etc.
Then I got a Paxton Novi 2000 Supercharger, did the install, up'ed the injector size to 44lb/hr which would be enough for what I was going to finish out with, 700HP.
Now I have about 250HP to play with on the block, NOTE 250HP) is ball park so play at your own risk, I added a NOS Fogger system 75HP - 300HP, that got me my 250HP with only 175 shot and a lot to spare, Total 950HP in the end.
