Hello fellow Excursion owners.
My name is Alan, and I live in Baltimore, MD. I am looking for people who have lifted their Excursions. As of right now, My truck has the stock 4x4 suspension on it. However, a few weeks ago I put 2" blocks on the front (temp lift), put a set of Mickey Thompson Outlaw series aluminum 16.5 wheels on it, and a set of BF Goodrich 35x12.50x16.5 all terrain tires on it. Yesterday I went to Pa and bought a used Superlift 5.5" suspension lift. It came off of a 2001 Excursion Diesel. It is complete ( - u bolts ), which I intend to buy this week, front & rear spring assys, track bar drop brace, sway bar drop brackets, drop Pittman arm, 4 shocks, steering stabilizer, and various hardware. I don't think it was a bad deal for $250.00. Considering Superlift sells the same kit for over $1,500.00 . Now, my question is... Have any of you used this particular set up? What can I expect from the ride? How much lift can I expect to achieve? Am I going to kill my gas mileage? The truck does have a V-10 gas engine. If you have any experience with with this, or knowledge of what I'm trying to do, please feel free to e-mail me at viciouslibra1970@aol.com

Thanks for taking the time to read this & reply.
