I have a 2001 crown vic base model with a 6-way drivers power seat and the passenger is manual .Ok now I found this 2000 grand marquis with 8 way power driver seat I was wondering how hard the swap will be can I try and convert the GM 8 way to 6 use my old seat frame or just do a swap and re-wire ...but than ho do i make the bak rest incline work cause I think I'm ony wired for 6-way on my car

Hey Jay: I am sure others will have great suggestions...mine would be to get "good" wire diagrams for both vehicles...then do the planning for a conversion....

I only have 1991 Lincoln Town Car (CEO ) Executive...similar 6 way I believe...forward (toward dash), backward (toward the rear), up (higher), down (lower), front tilt & rear tilt....
